What We Do

Wounded Warrior Homes, Inc., is a San Marcos, California based 501(c)3 non-profit.

We help homeless veterans get off the street and rehabilitated into a healthy lifestyle. Through our food pantry, counseling, partnership with Animeals and rehabilitative services, we help more than 500 veterans annually.

A man in a red shirt, tan pants, and a reflective safety vest is standing inside a living room near a door, holding a white helmet. The room features a blue armchair, a wooden coffee table, framed artwork on the wall, and a cardboard box. The man has curly hair and a small beard, and is standing with a confident posture, touching the door with one hand.

Wounded Warrior Homes’ vision and mission reflect our fundamental belief that all people belong and deserve fairness, justice, and inclusivity. We celebrate the visible and invisible qualities that make each person unique, including race, gender, age, sexuality, ability, religion, national origin, gender, and other identities. Wounded Warrior Homes is committed to aligning our culture and business practices to be a beacon of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging for all people.

MISSION

At the heart of our mission is the belief that every Veteran deserves the opportunity to lead a fulfilling life after service. We aim to empower Veterans by facilitating access to a comprehensive range of services, including mental health support, physical health programs, job training, legal assistance, and community engagement opportunities. By fostering connections between Veterans and the resources they need, Wounded Warrior Homes strives to create a supportive environment that encourages healing, growth, and successful reintegration into the civilian community.

VISION

Looking ahead, our vision is to further enhance the scope and effectiveness of our transitional housing program by bolstering our team with additional case management staff. This expansion is not just about increasing numbers; it's about enriching the quality and breadth of resources available to our veterans.
