Veterans Food Pantry
Healthy meals are an essential need for the veterans in our transitional housing program. Wounded Warrior Homes has partnered with North Country Food Bank and Feeding San Diego to provide veterans with the critical supplies needed to aid their transition. Our fully stocked food pantry for veterans is primarily dedicated to those already enrolled in our program. We provide a range of items, available on a first-come-first-served basis, to support the nutritional needs of our community.
Our veteran pantry operates with funds received from private donors, community grants, and community food drives. Our pantry features healthy options which include protein, dairy, and fresh produce for participating veterans. Veterans can also find hygiene and cleaning products that may not fall in their household budget. Our veteran pantry is available by appointment only to provide veterans with a comfortable shopping experience.

Wounded Warrior Homes is also a proud partner and supporter of the Helen Woodward Animal Center’s AniMeals program. AniMeals provides food to the animals owned by the veterans in our program.

How Can You Get Involved In Our Veterans Food Assistance Program
Food donations are a great way to support our program. We accept all forms of packaged/sealed food and are equipped for refrigerated and frozen storage as well as for shelf-stable items. By providing our veterans with day to day essentials, we can make their transition even more successful. Please see the flyer below for items that our veterans need.
