Rick J. Espitia

Executive Director & President

Rick J. Espitia, MBA, served in the US Marine Corps, and has 35 years in business management, with roles as CEO, President, and CFO of private and public companies, including major U.S. Defense Corporations. Led efforts in organizing and restructuring to maximize operational and financial performance. 

In February 2025, Rick assumed the daily leadership role as the Executive Director. His immediate direction was to establish his vision of programs that would benefit and better serve our veterans in San Diego County. The vision would create a total of two innovative programs. First our Operation Mental Health, and second, Our Women’s Veterans Center. We would continue our third program of the Men’s Transitional Housing, and our Food Panty Program.

Rick served in the United States Marine Corps for a total of 20 years on active duty and in the reserves. He served as an infantry officer and in support roles in planning and administrative functions and deployed in Desert Storm and other deployments. Rick completed his service with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
