Craig McEwen is a former University of Utah standout and NFL player whose impact has extended far beyond the football field through decades of dedicated service and philanthropy.

As President of the NFL Alumni Association of San Diego, Craig was instrumental in advancing the organization’s core missions of Caring for Kids and Caring for Our Own, raising significant funds and awareness to support underserved youth and former NFL players facing medical, financial, and transitional challenges. His leadership helped provide critical assistance to retired players dealing with serious health issues, while also strengthening outreach to the homeless community through charitable partnerships and hands-on involvement. Deeply committed to mentoring the next generation, Craig has consistently worked to help young athletes develop character, discipline, and opportunity—guiding many toward collegiate and professional pathways.
