Are You Military or a Veteran Who Lost Your SNAP Benefits? We’re Here to Help.🇺🇸

Across the country, thousands of military families and veterans are facing a new challenge: the loss of their SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits. Recent policy changes and stricter eligibility requirements have put nearly 1.2 million veterans at risk of losing this vital support that helps them put food on the table.

For many veterans, SNAP benefits are more than a government program. They are a lifeline that helps bridge the gap between paychecks or during times of transition back into civilian life. Losing those benefits can mean choosing between groceries, gas, or medical bills. No one who served their country should have to make that choice.

Standing Strong Together

At Wounded Warrior Homes, we believe that no veteran should ever go hungry. Our Food Pantry in San Marcos is open to active-duty military members and veterans who need a little extra help.

We provide:

  • Groceries and pantry staples

  • Frozen meals and toiletries

  • Pet food for service dogs through our Animeals Program

Located at 1145 Linda Vista Dr #104, San Marcos, our pantry is open Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
No appointments are required. Just stop by, and our team will be ready to assist you.

Community Support Makes It Possible

We know times are tough for many families, and that is why community support is more important than ever. If you live in San Diego or North County, you can help make a difference:

  • Spread the word to veterans and military families who may need assistance.

  • Donate canned goods, toiletries, or funds to keep our shelves full.

  • Volunteer your time to help us serve those who have served us.

Every can, every meal, and every act of kindness goes a long way toward ensuring that our local heroes and their families do not go without.

Together, We’re Stronger

The strength of our nation lies in how we care for those who have defended it. When veterans lose access to essential programs like SNAP, it is up to all of us — neighbors, friends, and communities — to step in and lend a hand.

Help us spread the word. Share this post with your networks across San Diego and North County and remind every veteran that they are not alone. We are in this together.
