Chailyn Hilley

Case Manager

Chailyn Hilley is our Case Manager with a strong academic and professional foundation in Human Services and Psychology. She began her educational journey at San Diego Community College, earning her Associate of Arts in Psychology before completing her Bachelor of Science in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton.

During her studies, Chailyn explored issues surrounding veteran suicide rates and the lack of mental health support for active-duty members while on deployment, deepening her commitment to advocacy and service. She also gained hands-on experience through internships and volunteer roles. As an Activities Assistant, she supported older adults experiencing memory loss, and as a Recreational Therapist Assistant at the VA, she discovered a strong connection to the veteran community. In addition, Chailyn served as a Peer Facilitator for Character and Conflict, a peer reflection group at California State University, Fullerton, where she helped students develop and explore conflict-resolution and self-reflection skills.

Her dedication led her to her current role, where she began as an intern with Wounded Warrior Homes and was later hired as a Case Manager. In this position, she draws on her academic background, facilitation skills, and professional experience with vulnerable populations to provide individualized support and advocacy for her clients.

Looking ahead, Chailyn hopes to pursue a Master’s in Social Work to expand her ability to serve the veteran and military population, supporting service members and their families with the compassion and advocacy they deserve.
