Wounded Warrior Homes Featured on Spotlight on the Community

We’re honored to share that our Director, Rick Espitia, recently joined Drew Schlosberg on Spotlight on the Community to talk about the mission and programs of Wounded Warrior Homes.

During the interview, Rick shared how our organization is helping veterans in San Diego County transition successfully back into civilian life. Through our Transitional Housing Program, Operation Mental Health, and Veterans Food Pantry, Wounded Warrior Homes provides essential support and resources for veterans who are rebuilding their lives after service.

Rick also spoke about the importance of community involvement — how partnerships, donors, and volunteers make it possible for us to provide not only housing and meals, but also hope and a sense of belonging. Every contribution, big or small, helps create a stable foundation for those who’ve served our country.

💙 We’re deeply grateful to Drew and the Spotlight on the Community team for helping us share our story and bring more awareness to the needs of veterans in our community.
